Speed Dating Fails Mostly: Study

Speed dating hardly works out for the long haul. At least that is the case for most people when it comes to speed dating.
A research conducted and published in the Royal Society Biology Letters, there are certain reasons as to why this kind of dating does not work out. It can be seen that human beings and animals can handle variety (one thing that speed dating provides) but after a point, confusion sets and most people do not know what to do.
Alison Linton who was a part of the research said that they went through and analyzed 1,868 female and 1,870 male participants in 84 commercially run speed dating events. These individuals gave their personal information while registering. These people were made to meet the members of the opposite sex for 3 minutes and their decisions were analyzed. It was seen that the number of proposals decreased. Research indicates non-human animals also make poor choices or none at all, when confronted with too much variety. So while speed dating one should have a clear head and his/her preference in mind.
