I had just rented the first season of Californication last week. I got through one episode and couldn't watch anymore. It was, in my personal opinion, a horrible show. All sex, pity party whining, and no real plot.
I said to my husband, "Is this guy a sex maniac or what?" We both laughed. Two days later news came out that David Duchovny had checked himself into rehab for a sex addiction. I was shocked. I mean, WHAT exactly does that mean, anyways?

Now let's say you are sitting around wondering if the guy or girl you're with is a sex maniac. It’s creepy. I saw this in the news and I keep flashing on it for some reason. It’s as if I’d have been more comfortable if he were a drug addict.
