Ask for Permission

Are you about to propose to your partner? Have you planned a great surprise engagement? Have you bought the perfect ring? There's just one more step to consider… ask the parents for permission.
Okay, so it may seem a bit old fashioned, but parents will really appreciate the extra effort in taking this step. It's a symbolic way of saying that you recognize this person was part of their family and now you're starting a new one.
So build in getting permission as the engagement day nears. It will be that much more special when you have the parent's blessing.
