You're a product, the dating site is the market, your responses are your market share, and the list continues:

• Sending Instant Messages and chatting with other members--that's TELEMARKETING


• Using social networking --that's PUBLIC RELATIONS- having other people giving you credit


• Having a personal blog instead of a public profile on a dating site--that's HARD SELLING


• Using matching technologies-that's TARGETING


• Making your profile public- that's your INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING
