BrainiacDating.com is a new niche online dating site for smart singles.
The site is supposed to be for people who have “an open mind and a curiosity about the world.” Being a brainiac isn’t all that easy to define, after all. And, as the new site’s press release points out, there are many different kinds of intelligence.
Lawrence Chernin created the site in October of 2008 because he was he wanted a place for intelligent singles to be able to feel comfortable to meet online and not to be just another singles photo gallery or a personality matchmaker. Instead the site’s members are required to fill out a more detailed profile that describes intelligent thoughts and ideas. Members can also join a chat room, write their own blog, post in the forums, or even create their own quizzes.
