Date My Ex

If you've tried every method of dating imaginable, perhaps you should try dating your friend's ex. In fact, wouldn't it be great for your friend to bring all their ex's, and you could bring all of yours, and the two of you could have a pick from each of your... leftovers (for lack of a better word).
If you think this is a great idea, perhaps you should look for events like this one called a "Date My Ex, Please," where people bring their ex's in as a way to "trade for someone more compatible."
While I think this is a good idea on the surface (after all, any time singles get out and mingle I think it's a good thing), I don't exactly think this would play out too well in real life. I think it takes two very special people to remain on good terms after a break up anyway, because let's face it - one part of the couple usually acts like a schmuck! If both people ARE super mature and forthright in their relationship, it would still be weird to see your ex with someone new. And more than that, someone you know. Wouldn't it?
