I don't know about you, but when I see one guy giving lame dating advice to another it really irks me. After all, these are the same guys who are going to ask me or a friend out, and if he's following what he THINKS we'll like rather than what we really like, it's going to make for a long night for both of us.

In my opinion, women give the best advice when it comes to dating because we know what we want. We want someone funny, honest, respectful, ambitious, sweet, and on and on. The trouble is, when you read a list like that off for a guy they immediately think it describes them. (And as we all know, it doesn't.)

It's no secret that even in today's modern dating world, women expect the guy to ask her out and pay. (Take note, guys.) It shows that he cares enough about her to put forth the extra effort. Women are such givers anyways, and if they have to be responsible for making the guy happy even on the first date, they'll resent it if the relationship goes any farther.
