A good sign of worldwide acknowledgement of a certain type of business' success is when others try to sell it as a standard business opportunity. That happened even to dating sites. There are lots of businesses that sell dating site-builders :) Of course, if you'd like to start another dating site that won't be JUST another dating site you have to develop your own model from scratch.
First, they're not such a great solution to begin with. Neither of these software producers did invent the wheel in online dating. These are just ready-to-use PHP scripts to use with an already-owned server and sql database.
How lazy can one be, after all?
As for the dating business at the moment, TJ got ahead of me and took a closer look at that.
