Do You Have to Be Right?
Whenever I get asked dating questions from people in relationships, I cringe when the question ends with... "can you tell me who is right, them or me?" Why are people so concerned with winning?

I always write back that proving you're right in a given situation is so much less important than finding common ground and understanding each other's perspective. If all you care about is winning every argument I'll bet you're not a great listener. That's a recipe for relationship disaster.

So spend a little less time trying to win and a little more time focused on compromise. That approach will inch you closer and closer to a healthy relationship.
