Dating Sites
by Kathryn Vercillo on November 6, 2007

As I think you know by now, I believe that online dating works. By "works", I mean that I believe that you can find the kind of relationship that you are seeking by using online dating sites to find the person who can provide that kind of relationship for you. But I don't think it's magic. I think that you need to know what you want and you need to be willing to spend time and effort to get it.
There's a blog post over at Lovers Pad that was put up in October which really highlights my point about this. It discusses the fact that online dating can open you up to meeting a lot more people in your free time than you could ever meet in "real life". It also discusses the fact that you're not just going to throw up a profile and have the right people come to you. It takes sifting and sorting and investing some energy. But it can pay off.
