Don't Fire Back

Let's say you've left the toilet seat up again. Your partner walks into the bathroom and immediately shouts your name. You come running to the bathroom just in time for her to say… "How many times do I have to tell you to put the seat down after using it?"

You've got two choices here. You can take your medicine or fire back. I'm sure firing back is tempting. After all, there's bound to be something that she does repeatedly that gets on your nerves.

But this is not the time to fire back. Deal with the issue at hand and save your issue for the next time it happens on your end. This is the best way to prevent little issues from becoming big relationship problems.
