If you're stuck in an online dating rut, consider expanding your zip code search to widen the radius. Sure you'll have to travel a bit further to meet someone, but isn't it worth it, if there's a good match.
I hear so many people say they only want to meet someone in the same city. I'm not suggesting to look for long distance relationships. But if someone lives 30-60 minutes away, it still may be worth considering.
