Is there someone in your life that you've been wanting to ask out for months, or even years? What's stopping you? I'll bet it's fear of rejection (or possibly ruining a friendship).

Make today the day you break through the fears and worries and just go for it. The only way to end all this uncertainty is to find out once and for all if the other person is interested.

Even if you get rejected at least you won't have to live a lifetime of regret. Isn't that a better fate then just never taking action in the first place?
