Friendships Change over Time

Think for a minute about you and your two or three best friends. Do you remember when you were all single. It was easy to make plans, nobody had major commitments to juggle.
What's the story now with those same friends. I'll bet they are all at different relationship stages. One might be married with kids, one is engaged, and one is still a swinging single. That can put undue pressure on keeping the friendships in tact.
The key is to respect, not resent, each other's life stages. The married folks can't get upset that the single ones still want to go out at midnight. The single ones need to understand that couples with kids have trouble meeting up at the bar at 2 am.
