Does watching old re-runs of Sex and the City make you wish that you could find a columnist writing today that has the same kind of tone? If so, you might be interested in checking out Misadventures in Internet Dating. This is a blog by a young woman who has been giving readers a running update of her online dating life since she first went on an Internet date about a year and a half ago. Her tone is reminiscent of Carrie's column from the show, although she's a more "real" gal in many ways, someone that you can definitely relate to if you're a young person doing Internet dating today. Her archives are a fun read for those that are just getting familiar with her and she's still keeping us all posted so there's no time like the present to join in. It's updated every couple of weeks so it's not overwhelming, just a little bit of fun reading. And no, this one isn't just for the ladies. Sure, we may like the tone and tales a bit more than the guys but the author is such a fun, witty gal that guys'll enjoy spending their surfing-online-while-at-work hours on her stories as well.
