Getting to Commitment

So you've been dating a great guy and you know you want to marry him. The only problem is you can't tell exactly where he stands. Should you continue to go through the motions or deliver the ultimatum?
I'm a big fan of the soft ultimatum. Rather than demand a ring overnight, set a timetable for a few months or a year out. This way you're both working toward the same deadline without the immediate Pressure of engagement.
If the time passes and still no ring, at least you'll know you gave it a fair shot and can move on with a clear head.
