Hi Everyone! I'm cherie, the new dating blogger here at Creative Weblogging. I'm excited to get started but first wanted to tell you a little bit about myself and how I came to write about dating and relationships.

First of all, I've been in the same place you are. I dated for years (and years!) and just never seemed to find the right person. Then a few years ago I decided to join an online dating service and met over 60 guys for coffee in just six months. One of those turned out to be the one I would marry just a year later.

Sounds like a fairy tale, right? Well, before I met my hubby I had lots of opportunities to date and maneuver around the world of singles. Truth be told I liked being single, but I also knew that one day I'd want to share my life with someone. And like you, I didn't want to settle. I didn't want to get married just because, I wanted to do it only if it was right. Right time, right person.

After I got married I wrote a book and became an online dating consultant, where I helped people rewrite their profiles so they stood out from all the other profiles that sounded exactly like everyone else. I'm also the Dating Feature Writer at Suite101.
