One of the scariest moments in any relationship is meeting the parents for the first time. This can be especially stressful if the first meeting occurs during a major holiday, say Thanksgiving.
As much as families love each other sometimes these holidays stir up old tensions. So if you're bringing your partner to meet everyone for the first time, be sure to prep them a little bit.
Give them a little pre-warning about which uncle tells offensive jokes, which cousin tends to drink too much, and which sibling will put them through the third degree. The more help you give the better the holiday will go.
