How Much Would You Pay For A Match?

At the opposite end of the spectrum from free dating sites, you'll find match making services that cater to people who aren't afraid to spend a few books to find "the one". One of those services is Enchanted Evenings which serves the New York tri-state area. Singles seeking each other out pay $100 just for their initial interview and then buy packages that start at $1250 and go all the way up to $30,000.

What do you get for this kind of money? Depending on the amount that you pay, you'll be introduced to 3 matches or more who might be your perfect someone. They're almost all college educated, often with advanced degrees, and they have professional, stable jobs. The service describes each party to the other and then exchanges phone numbers for them. The rest is up to you.

It apparently works for some people. Check out this Daily Record article for the tale of at least one couple that found marriage through their match.

For me, that one is great. Money is everything right now. There is nothing wrong matching up with some one with exchange for money. You just used your brain than having a date with no use.
