In Case You Missed It: ManCrunch and the Superbowl

Monday, 15. February 2010 - 12:35 am

The gay dating site ManCrunch wanted to run an ad during the Superbowl. Since it cost, like, a gajillion dollars to run a Superbowl ad, I guess you can infer that Mancrunch must be making enough money to pay its bills. Or not: BNET posted an article that implies that the ad was rejected (in part at least) because CBS wasn't sure they'd get paid for running it.

Maybe I just don't watch enough TV (or the right channel), but I don't think I've ever see a TV ad for any gay dating site. And ManCrunch got a lot of publicity out of simply getting rejected.

ManCrunch wasn't the only company to have their ad rejected. Mashable took a look at the ads that didn't get in.
