Join a Specialized Site
I'm all for joining a mainstream dating site like Match.com or Yahoo! Personals. These two sites clearly boast the greatest membership bases and therefore the biggest pool of potential mates.



But what if you have a dating dealbreaker. Say you want to date someone of a particular religion, political affiliation, or ethnic background. Specialized dating sites could be the way to go.



Sure the pool of candidates will be smaller, but at least you know everyone you meet will be of the religion, political slant, or Ethnicity you desire.
