So instead of "learning to play poker" or "give the perfect back rub" find out what makes your guy tick. I don't know about you, but most guys I know enjoy their weekly poker game precisely because it involves their pals and not their lady.

Rather than trying to love everything hobby he has, learn the small things that make your guy tick. Does he love a certain meal you make? Appreciate the way you hold his hand while he tells you about his day? Learn about your guy and show him you appreciate him. Make sure he knows that even when you're annoyed with something he does, you're thankful he's in your life.
