Ever been cheated on?
There's some interesting figures about why men cheat over at MSN. I'm always fascinated about why people decide to cheat on their significant other. To me, it seems like such a cop-out. Why not just talk to your spouse or partner? Either you working toward staying together, or you aren't. Cheaters aren't.
But back to the figures about infidelity... a couple that really struck me were these:
"40% of cheating men met the other woman at work"
and
"Only 12% of cheating men said their mistress was more physically attractive than their wife."
The work figure surprises me. I guess if I were to be the cheating kind (and I'm not) I'd probably go for someone that I wouldn't have to constantly see should things not work out. Then again, I suppose when you're having an affair you are at a point of frustration in your relationship and are probably not thinking clearly enough to choose the right person to cheat with.
However, the second figure surprised me even more. We as women would like to believe that men just couldn't help themselves when it came to being unfaithful... that the woman was so unbelievably gorgeous that he couldn't help himself. Guess not.

If it gets to be that confusing to the man why not sever ties with their spouse then do what you need to do. Cheating is jus too risque to do with possibility of bringing home some STD that cannot be cured.
