An article at TechCrunch today took at look at recent marketing research and decided that mobile dating may quickly become the next big thing.

The predictions are a bit optimistic in my opinion, but the suggested growth should make startups like the UK-based Flirtomatic, MeetMoi, PlutoLife and IceBrkr hopeful, although the big dating sites like Match.com and WebDate are heavily experimenting with expanding their dating services to mobile platforms as well.Bottom line, advances in wireless access coupled with the expanding capabilities of hand held devices like the iPhone mean that you may soon be able to dress up on Friday night, spend a little time on the town, and then find yourself a date (if that's what you want) by video chatting with three or four candidates that you've got right there in the palm of your hand...

I agree with the article, With the span of 3 to 5 years mobile communication will certainly become a big hit just like social network, .mobi and mobile applications will sell like hot cakes

I would love to see mobile dating on http://mutualarrangements.com
which is where my current profile is posted. Most Sugar Daddy sites don't have it yet, but I hope mobile dating will be available soon.
