My Parents Don’t Approve of My Partner

So you've got yourself a little problem. You love your boyfriend or girlfriend but your parents can't stand your partner. They just think this person you are seeing couldn't be more wrong for you.
It's easy to understand why parents would be so protective. After all, they've been watching over you from the moment you took your first breath. Now, if you're still in junior high or even high school, there's nothing wrong with taking a little advice from the folks.
But if you're in college or working in the real world, then it's time to make your own decisions in your dating life. Sure it would be great if your parents and partner got along famously, and maybe they will over time, but don't make the mistake of letting your parents decide your dating destiny for you.
