Online Dating as Valentine's Nears

Are you more or less likely to be active on online dating sites as Valentine's Day gets closer? This holiday which is designed to recognize romance can often be a hair-pulling time of year for people who are dating. Some people want to avoid the stress altogether by just dropping out of the dating pool until the week is over. However, others find that the desire to be with someone is increased so much during this holiday that they ramp up their online dating action in hopes of getting a Valentine's date.

For people who aren't involved in intimate relationships but who want to be out on the town with someone tomorrow, the key is to keep the date low-key. Don't put a lot of pressure on being together because it's Valentine's Day. Just treat it like any other date and open yourself up to the possibility of falling in love.

Question of the Day: How has your online dating activity changed because it's Valentine's week?
