You would not believe how many questions I get these days from people who think online dating companies charge too much in membership fees.

Since when is $200-$300 per year too high a price for the chance to meet the love of your life (or at least someone for a casual relationship)? Do you realize that if you go out with friends once or twice each week, you'll easily spend this same money in just one month!

All I can say is that if it's really bothering you, then check out one of the free dating sites. Otherwise, start to see online dating annual fees for what they are... the small price you pay for love.
