If you want to learn a lot about a new partner, pay attention to their parents. You can learn tons from how your partner acts around your parents, as well as the personalities of both parents.
You'll likely find that your partner has picked up some of the traits from the parents and will exhibit these traits as you get to know each other.
If you like what you see from the parents, chances are you'll feel the same about the partner. If not, give it some thought before you get serious.
