Reading too much into your Horoscope

I have a confession. I read my horoscope. Not only do I read it, I love to read it. And I don't only read mine, but I also read the horoscope of anyone that I've got a crush on at any given time. Now, do I really think that the stars can tell me what I need to know about dating? No. But I like reading what they have to say anyway, just in case.

There are two different kinds of horoscopes that I read. One is the daily/weekly/monthly horoscope that gives me a forecast for my future. I read mine ... and I read the horoscope of said crush to see how compatible our immediate futures might be. The other kind of horoscope that I read is the "match making" kind that tells you what basic traits you have and what basic traits the other sign has and how those go together.

It sounds so cheesy to ask, "what's your sign?" but I admit to doing it regularly with people I'm meeting online. It doesn't make or break the date but it sometimes gives a strikingly clear picture of what I can expect. And since several sites lets you see the person's sign, you often don't even need to ask the embarrassing question!
