Reality Check? How About a Background Check on Your Date?

Mashable ran a piece recently on a new iPhone app that could be every Casanova's nightmare. The app is call DateCheck.
DateCheck is free (for now, at least). To run the background check you need a name, a phone number and an email address on your date. Mashable describes it this way:
DateCheck is practically omniscient, working not only to weed out the real creeps, but to alert you to deadbeats, and even help you find compatible matches. The search application filters social web and public record results for the following factors: Sleaze Detector, Compatibility, Net Worth, Living Situation, and Interests.
Among other things, the app will show you if your prospective date has a criminal record – including DUI's and sexual offenses.
