Did you know that half the people I coach in dating are currently doing absolutely zero dating. That's right, even though their goal is to be in a relationship, they haven't been on a single date in months or years.

It might seem obvious but it's worth stating anyway... relationships require dating. In other words, if your goal is to land in a healthy relationship, you'll have to get out there and do some dating.

So the next time you feel like staying in to watch TV, choose a singles event or go out with your crew instead. You just might meet someone.

At the risk of sounding like an echo, I couldn't agree more. My primary cliets are women who desperatly want to be married, but they are so afraid of making a mistake that they won't consider a man who doesn't fit their ideal. Men do this too I know and I think they fail to realize that dating is really nothing more than an interview (except it's a lot more fun).
