Respect Traditions
Let's say you've been baking ginger bread cookies around the holidays for as long as you can remember. Now you're in a relationship and your partner has never tasted a ginger bread cookie in their life.

What should you do? Encourage them to pickuplinks your tradition? Skip the cookies this year? Keep in mind that just because a tradition was big in your family it doesn't mean your partner has the same feelings.

Talk about which traditions you'll carry forward and you'll have a much smoother holiday season this year.
