Retreating is not an option
If you're having trouble in your relationship it can be tempting to shut down and figure things out on your own. Unfortunately, that leaves your Partner in the dark, wondering what's going on.



When two people are involved issues need to be faced head on, not in isolation. That way, both sides are heard, both sides are understood, and you can move on together.



So the next time you feel like retreating, instead call your partner over and hash it out together.
