A common interest in musical tastes is the hook behind a new dating website called Rock 'n Roll Dating. They match singles who enjoy rockabilly, metal, or punk rock. Best of all? The site is free to sign up and create a profile.

According to the Long-Beach Press Telegram, "the site launched in mid-January and already has a few thousand members." The mastermind behind the site once owned a record label, so he wanted to create a place for singles like himself who enjoy rock 'n roll.

I think a site like this a great idea. It not only offers an "in" to first date conversation, but also lends itself to some date ideas as well. What's not to like about that?
