Romance Tied to Infancy

A study from the University of Minnesota has found a connection between infant attachment and security and how well an adult maintains a romantic, emotional connection to a partner. It seems the more attached and secure you felt as a baby, the better your odds at finding an emotional connection later on.

Before you go blaming your parents for your dating troubles, just remember that ultimately you determine your dating destiny. Just because you weren't held enough as a child it doesn't mean you have a right to never commit to anyone as an adult.

But it is nice to know that quality parenting can improve your odds of dating success.
