Scammers Flock To Online Dating Sites

THE BALTIMORE SUN - Aug 14 - With the success of online dating sites, it's not surprising scammers have followed the action. The FBI does not keep statistics on such schemes, but Romance-scam has 10,600 members who claim to be victims, 760 of which reported losing more than $6 million. Common schemes involve check fraud and requests to reship goods purchased with stolen credit cards. FULL ARTICLE @ THE STATE
