I loved this article about how to be single and happy. I think it's important for singles to be content in their own skin before trying to find Mr. or Mrs. Right. Sometimes when I tell people this, they think it's because I think singles should be content waiting for the right person. And this isn't quite true.

What I mean is, I think singles should understand what makes them tick before trying to fit the idea of someone else's perfect person. Have you ever met someone that changed their entire personality depending on who they were dating?

It's a dangerous thing to try and be something you are not. If you meet someone great who loves you for who you pretend to be, rather than who you really are, then the relationship is really a lie. And all lies come to the surface eventually.
