Sites for Snoopers

When I first started dating my boyfriend, he wasn't particularly forthcoming with personal information. I took it to be that he was shy and that he'd reveal what I needed to know about him in due time. That was indeed the case and it's worked out fine for me but not all women as are patient as I am. Some people feel the need to know it all right from the start. For those women, there's a service called "Date Mate" from US Search which provides information about people that you've just started dating.
The service combines different types of information into one report so that you can learn all about what someone you want to date has going for them in life. Child support payments, businesses that are owned, criminal histories and more might be revealed when you get this report. For some women, it's the only way that they feel safe enough to start dating someone.
For me, I think that dating needs to be something that has a foundation of trust. The argument to this is that you also need to play it safe - many women believe that it's in their best interest to know from the get-go if they've got a lying criminal on their hands. But as far as I'm concerned, I'll learn what I need to know as time goes on and let trust be the guide for how things turn out.
Question of the Day: Is it naive to think a service like this one is bad for a budding relationship?
