Stay Cool During the Heat Wave

If you are living in the northeast right now then you're experiencing record setting temperatures. The weatherman says 98 degrees, but the real feel temperature is more like 110 degrees.
In case you haven't noticed, this extremely hot weather can make some people a bit short tempered or less patient than usual. That can cause some unnecessary fights between couples.
If you're in a relationship, do your best this week to stay cool and avoid picking fights based on heat exhaustion. Go for ice cream, take a dip in the pool, read a book in an air conditioned room. Just do your best to avoid taking the heat out on each other!

For reducing the risk of heat stress you can also drink plenty of water (even if not thirsty), wear wide brimmed hat or use umbrella for shade, spend time in air-conditioned areas, take cool baths and showers and sprinkle each other with water.
