The New Family

When you walk down the aisle, you and your partner become a whole new family. This is exciting but at the same time confusing for your parents.
They're used to having you as a Primary part of their family, but now the wishes and dreams of your spouse and you have to come first. It's important to talk about this as a family and extended family so everyone's needs are met.
Otherwise the situation can turn from love to resentment in a hurry.
