The Three S's Of Valentine's Day
Filed in archive by Kathryn Vercillo on February 05, 2008

Valentine's Day. It's that holiday that some people live for and others want to sleep through. However, it doesn't have to be such an intense thing. Consider celebrating it in a casual way focusing on one of the three S's: sexy, sweet and single.
Sexy is a great way to think of the holiday when you're in a relationship. This relieves the pressure of having to come up with the perfect gift - or being disappointed that you didn't get what you wanted. Instead, it's about creating a day that's designed to take both you and your date to another world where you can explore each other's bodies and forget about real life for awhile. Indulge in a fantasy that you've both talked about before but haven't done yet.
Sweet is another way that you can celebrate Valentine's Day without putting on too much pressure. Do something sweet for someone that you're dating, even if you've only been seeing each other for a short amount of time. This doesn't need to be the traditional Valentine's Day stuff like chocolates and roses either. A flirty text message, a call in the middle of a workday or just taking the time to express what you like about the other person can be a sweet day to note the loving feelings of the holiday without going overboard.
Single. That's a word many people don't like on Valentine's Day if it applies to them. However, there's no reason to sit at home and be sad. Get together with other singles that you know and do something fun. Stop moping; it's not attractive.
Question of the Day: Which S is the S for you this Valentine's Day?
