Okay, it's a pretty subjective list, but the top three dating sites according to Blogtrepreneur are Plenty of Fish, OK Cupid, and eHarmony.
Things that make you go hmmmm.
About Dot Com's dating blog lists Plenty of Fish fourth (Lavalife beats them out). Online Dating has a completely different list and puts Match Dot Com first.
I think most people agree that Plenty of Fish is the top free dating website. I hear discussion periodically about taking it to a pay site, and I'm sure that's tempting for the fish people.
Bottom line: The best site out there is the site that's best for you. And I guess that is subjective...
