Too Broke to Date?

Filed in archive Date Ideas by Cherie Burbach on November 14, 2008

Empty pockets

Times are tough economically, and some daters are looking for ways to cut spending while trying to still find inexpensive but fun things to do.

There are other daters, however (namely - MEN) who feel that the way to hold on to your cash is to avoid dating altogether!

At least, that's what this article says. I'm not sure how much I believe this, but I can see a few guys using tough financial times as an excuse not to be in a relationship.

Still, once you're IN a relationship, it's not like you need to spend that much money to keep things going. When you meet someone special, any type of activity (like the under $5 dates I mention here) should fit the bill. After all, it isn't the amount of money, but the thought and time you give each other that really counts.

Don't you agree?
