On February 14th, go to the mall together and decide on a gift budget, say $10 or $25. Then give each other 30-60 minutes to run around the mall and find gifts for the other person.

You'll rendezvous back at a cafe and open your gifts together. The beauty of this idea is that you'll have spent equal time and thought on your gifts.
