Who Should Pay?

You meet someone for a drink, have a great time, and then the bill comes. Suddenly it's awkward. Should the guy pay? Should the woman pay? Should the woman offer and the guy say "don't be silly."
There's no right answer of course, it probably comes down to whether or not you're a traditionalist when it comes to dating. My sense is that in the end, if it works out, I mean really works out, you'll be sharing bank accounts someday.
If you'll ultimately make it to joint account status then covering a Latte here or there doesn't matter too much.
